Delivery
Bannos delivers to Sydney and selected surrounding suburbs. Our delivery service is calculated on kilometres from Annandale and will be calculated at checkout.
Cakes are delivered within the designated delivery window of 9am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday. This is the actual delivery window — we are unable to accommodate requests for specific delivery times. If you require further information about the estimated arrival time of our driver to your area, please feel free to contact us at 0481 462 308. Should you need a specific delivery time frame, we will do our best to accommodate your request, however this cannot be guaranteed.
On the day of delivery, you will receive a morning text message containing an estimated 2 hour delivery window and a live tracking link for our delivery van. Please note that the 2 hour window is an additional service we provide to help with a better customer experience — it is not a guaranteed delivery time and is subject to change at any time. The 2 hour window you receive on the morning of delivery is the most accurate. For Friday and Saturday deliveries, an initial 2 hour window may be sent the day before — please be aware that this is a preliminary estimate and is more likely to change. You will also receive another text message to notify you when the driver is nearing your residence, which could be 5–60 minutes before arrival.
Any request to change the delivery address must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Once the morning delivery message has been sent, the address can no longer be changed if the new address falls outside the driver's run for that day.
If the recipient is not at the delivery address given, if it is safe to do so, the cake will be left at the premises. If the recipient does not respond to the driver's messages on arrival, the delivery will be marked as failed and the driver will not be able to return. Bannos is not responsible for melted gelato cakes if a wrong address is supplied or if the recipient is not available to receive the cake.
Gelato cake
Once your gelato cake has been delivered it will need to be stored in the freezer at at least -15˚C. Bannos does not take responsibility for wrongly stored cakes.
Sponge Cake
Your cake will be delivered in our refrigerated van and will need to be stored in the box in the fridge. Please remove your cake from the fridge and let it stand for 1-2 hours before serving.
