Bannos has won a total of 30 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for our much-loved gelati and sorbets!
Priding ourselves on the quality and taste of our gelati and sorbets, we let the experts decide by entering into three of Australia's largest competitions for the very first time. Starting with the 2019 Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Show - the single largest competition in NSW and attracting some of Australia's best gelato-makers, we brought home Gold Awards for our;
- Vanilla Gelato
- Saffron and Honey Gelato
- Mango Sorbet
- Avocado Sorbet
Numerous Silver and Bronze awards were also won. Silver medals for Pistachio Gelato and Peanutella Gelato. Bronze medals for Milk Chocolate Gelato, Dark Chocolate Gelato, Hazelnut Gelato, Macadamia Gelato, Raspberry Cheesecake Gelato, Coconut Gelato, Nocciolata Gelato, Cream and Cookies Gelato, Salted Caramel Gelato, Espresso Gelato, Lemon Sorbet and Raspberry Sorbet.
Our success continued too after entering the 2019 DIAA Australian Dairy Product and the 2019 DIAA NSW Dairy Product Competition! The Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) includes some of the most knowledgeable people in the dairy industry and for this reason we are proud to have won four Gold awards for;
- Salted Caramel Gelato
- Saffron and Honey Gelato
- Coconut Gelato
- Peanutella Gelato
Our Silver awards include Hazelnut Praline Gelato, Coconut with Cashew Praline, Macadamia and Salted Caramel Gelato, Chocolate Gelato, Nocciolata Gelato, Vanilla Gelato, Cream and Cookies Gelato and Pistachio Gelato.
